Uses and characteristics

P-FAREL-711 significantly improves the adhesion of tapes to difficult-to-stick substrates, helping to ensure a strong connection. It is mainly used for pressure sensitive adhesive or hot melt adhesive to paste EPDM, PP, TPU, PVC, TPO and other surfaces, and can also be used to bond the surface of glass, metal, and paint.

It has excellent reactivity to the substrate and pressure-sensitive adhesive surface, and can react with COOH and OH on the surface of the substrate, thereby improving the temperature and moisture resistance of the bond.

No benzene ring solvents.

The halogen content complies with EN249-2-21 and the ROHS directive.

It can be used to bond tape to various automobile parts, such as car door sound insulation sealing strips, car handles, car door bowls, car decorative strips, anti-collision rubber strips, car rearview mirrors, rain eyebrow rain shields, car film edge banding, rear tank fuel tank covers, car lights, etc.

It can be combined with aluminum foil tape, copper foil tape, PET tape film, advertising film, etc. with electroplated metal, epoxy board, PP, EPDM and other materials for laminate bonding.

Usage Introduction

1：Before use, the dust and oil on the surface of the substrate should be removed.

2：Due to the presence of oil stains, release agents, etc. on many substrate surfaces,P- FAREL-915 primer accelerator is recommended to ensure optimal bonding.

3：Shake the container containing the primer vigorously to ensure that the substance is evenly mixed. Use a special tool or brush to evenly apply the primer to the bonding surface, and the thickness of the dry coating film is 2-4μm.

4：When there are oil stains on the surface of the substrate, release agent, etc., such as oil-filled EPDM, EPDM extrusion strips, etc., it is highly recommended to use a pressure scraping coating primer with a pressure of more than 2kg/m.

5：n a ventilated environment, it can usually be dried at room temperature for 2-5 minutes, and in a closed environment, it can be dried at room temperature for 5-10 minutes.

6：Normally, after priming is applied, the tape needs to be bonded within 8 hours, and the primer treatment needs to be re-applied after 8 hours.

7：For oil-filled EPDM, the tape needs to be bonded within 30 minutes after the primer coat has dried, otherwise the oiliness will spread over the primer surface, resulting in poor adhesion.

8：After the tape is bonded, after 2 hours of rest, the preliminary adhesive performance evaluation can be carried out, and the optimal after 24 hours of resting.

6：In case of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. If you still feel unwell, you should

seek medical attention immediately. If accidentally swallowed or overinhaled, seek medical attention immediately

7：Store in a dark place at a temperature of 0-30°C; Shelf life 2 years.
